Doula Service
Full Birth Doula Support service includes:
Pregnancy
· 3- 4 pre natal visits of approximately two hours (flexible arrangements)
· Calmbirth® Education classes (optional)
· On call support
· Pregnancy information and support
· Discussion of birth options and birth planning
· Relaxation and breathing techniques - including fear release and emotional wellbeing
· Access to pregnancy and birthing resources (books/DVDs/Networks)
PLUS!! All couples receive a 20% discount on additional wellbeing services including Breathwork Therapy and Reiki
Labour
· Support in your home or hospital, from time required until after birth
· Physical support including massage, deep relaxation, breathing, and positioning
· Emotional support and wellbeing - being present to you and your needs
· Calm and confidence in mums and their partners
· Support to partners (information, options and emotional support)
Post natal
· 1 - 2 post natal visits (including debrief)
· Support for new parents, and referral
· Baby care
· Labour and birth debrief
Doula Fees
Fees below apply for bookings made from 1 July 2011 - 1 Jan 2012
Full Doula Support -- $1100
Full Doula Support, with Midwife supported Homebirth -- $800 (in recognition of additional cost of private midwifery care)
Individual Doula Support sessions and/or additional sessions (2 hours) $130
Student Doula (co-working with professional Doula mentor) $350-550
Optional Wellbeing Packages:
Doula Support & Calmbirth® Classes $1330
Doula Support & Breathwork Therapy (release fear/beliefs/emotional blocks) $1330
Full Doula Care package (including Calmbirth and Breathwork) $1500
